How we got started....
In November 2017, my good friend Pete DeKate called after returning from a frustrating golf vacation in Cabo San Lucas. As a seasoned traveler he felt comfortable booking the hotel, tee times and transfers himself. His frustration started with the airport transfer being late and not the private SUV he requested. In addition, the golf course "forgot" to mention that they were having a tournament and the resort wasn't up to his expectations.
Prior to starting Warm Weather Golf, I worked for a company that produced meetings, conferences and events. Pete had attended one of our corporate events in Los Cabos and was impressed with the seamlessness of the whole process.
"Why can't you do that for me?" he asked...….. "Sure, I can do that!".
At that moment Warm Weather Golf was born. We set out to build Warm Weather Golf to offer golfers what we wanted ourselves — high quality accommodations, tee times at great courses and airport transfers all packaged at fair price. In two years, Warm Weather Golf has grown to offer golf vacations in 3 countries at more than 30 golf courses and 22 hotels and we are adding destinations, courses and hotels monthly. At first it was great just helping out a friend. but most importantly, our customers repeatedly tell us we’re making golf travel better for them too.
We streamline the way people buy their golf vacation. We specialize in planning golf travel to Cancun, Los Cabos, and Punta Cana. We handle all of the details from planning to execution. In addition, throughout the year we have “prescheduled” trips that you are more than welcome to join.
